The Answers You Need

Must be at least 3 years old to participate. Weight limit is 280 lbs for guests that are 5' 7" or taller and 250 lbs for guests that are 5'6" or shorter.

What are the age and weight limits?

We zip rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes– no flip flops! Pants or longer shorts are recommended. Guides will be able to carry any emergency medical aids or devices for our customers. 

Cell phones are allowed as a camera source while on the tour.  They MUST be secured. Phones are to be used on platforms and walks, NOT while zipping. We sell lanyards for easy cell phone usage in the office.  

What should we wear/bring?

If you enjoyed your zip, it is always a good idea to tip your guides.  Our guides are trained to ensure that you have a safe, fantastic, and memorable experience with your friends and family.  

Should we tip our guides?

Tour lengths vary depending on the amount of participants in a scheduled time. On average, the Tour takes 1.5-2 hours.

How long is a tour?

Due to our strict scheduling and limited space, if you are late and your tour leaves without you, there will be NO REFUND OR RESCHEDULE. Arrive 30 minutes early to check-in. For guests that arrive on time, we will not delay tours OR if the tour holds for you, there will be a $40 late fee per group.  

What happens if I run late for my tour?

We have a strict 72 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel outside of 72 hours from your tour time, you will be refunded or receive a voucher for the amount you paid. If you cancel within 72 hours of your tour time, there are no refunds or vouchers. 

What is the cancellation policy?

We zip rain or shine, so dress appropriately!! We will make every effort to complete your tour as planned. If we are experiencing lightning or high winds in the area, we may cancel or delay the tour, at times with little notice.  Plan accordingly and stay alert to your phone on the day of your tour! If your tour is canceled you will receive a call from Upstate Zipline staff who will make their best effort to reschedule your tour, or offer a refund if you are unable to reschedule.  

What if the weather affects my tour?

We offer a local and military discount (must show ID). For groups of 10 or more, we offer a 10% discount per person.  

Are there discounts or group rates?

Absolutely! The first five cables can be seen from the waiting area just outside of our office.
